Consultation

Involving the community from the very beginning of a project is the best way to achieve great outcomes.

Consultation with local stakeholders including community members and landholders, Traditional Owners, industry groups and education providers will be continual and ongoing, through both formal and informal channels.

Initial consultation has commenced with the Wellington Shire and other relevant bodies and informal consultation has been undertaken across a range of local stakeholders.

Formal community consultation to support the Planning Permit application process will begin after the final draft project design is completed.

The community consultation will occur through various channels including local drop-in sessions, attendance at community events and through communications channels including this website, newsletters and local newspapers.

A Community Consultative Committee will also be established.

The project will at all times provide feedback provisions and the capacity for individuals to ask questions directly to the project proponents.
